This policy covers AK Real Estate Solutions, operated by Anirudh Kapoor as an independent advisory practice. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.
1. Who We Are
AK Real Estate Solutions ("AKRES", "we", "us") is a sole-proprietorship residential real-estate advisory practice based in Gurgaon, India. We are not a broker, builder, or financial institution. Our primary service is independent risk-assessment advisory for residential property buyers in the Gurgaon market.
For privacy-related queries, contact: anirudhkapoor1996@gmail.com
2. What Personal Data We Collect
Data you provide directly
- Name, phone number, and email when you fill our contact or broker-connect form
- Property requirement details (budget, configuration, preferred micro-market) shared during consultation booking
- Payment information processed via Razorpay when booking a paid Zoom diagnostic (we do not store card details — Razorpay processes and holds this data)
- Content of messages sent via WhatsApp or email enquiry
Data collected automatically
- Basic analytics: pages visited, approximate location (city level), device type, browser — collected via standard web server logs
- Cal.com booking metadata (date, time, meeting type) when you schedule an appointment
Data we do NOT collect
- Aadhaar, PAN, or any government-issued identification numbers
- Financial account details (handled entirely by Razorpay)
- Precise location or GPS coordinates
- Biometric or health data
3. Why We Collect This Data
- To provide the advisory service — understanding your requirement is necessary to give relevant guidance
- To process bookings and payments — Cal.com and Razorpay require basic contact information to complete a transaction
- To match you with a broker partner — if you opt into the free broker-connect pathway, your requirement details are shared with one pre-vetted broker (see Section 5)
- To send follow-up communications — post-call summaries, market updates you have opted into, or scheduling confirmations
- To improve our service — aggregate, anonymised understanding of which micro-markets and requirement profiles we serve most often
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, we process your personal data on the following lawful grounds:
- Consent — you voluntarily submit your contact details through our forms
- Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver the paid advisory service you booked
- Legitimate interest — service improvement and basic analytics, where this does not override your rights
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Limited sharing occurs only with:
- Broker partners — only with your explicit consent via the broker-connect form; we share your name, phone, budget, and requirement summary with one broker. Builder or project names are not disclosed by us
- Cal.com — booking platform; processes name, email, and meeting details
- Razorpay — payment processor; handles transaction data under their own privacy policy
- Fireflies.ai — if you have consented, your Zoom call may be transcribed to generate your advisory summary document
- Google Workspace — your data may transit Google's infrastructure (Gmail, Google Calendar) in the course of scheduling and communication
All third-party processors are required to protect your data to at least the same standard as this policy requires.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
- Contact and requirement data: retained for 24 months from last interaction, then deleted
- Paid consultation records (booking, payment confirmation, summary document): retained for 5 years for accounting compliance, then deleted
- Zoom call transcripts (where consented): retained for 12 months, then deleted
- Analytics logs: anonymised after 6 months
7. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023
As a data principal, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data (subject to statutory retention requirements)
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us; if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India once constituted
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
To exercise any right, email anirudhkapoor1996@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within 30 days.
8. Data Security
We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect your personal data, including:
- Access controls — personal data is accessible only to Anirudh Kapoor and named broker partners where applicable
- Encrypted communications — all data in transit is protected via HTTPS/TLS
- Third-party security — we use reputable, SOC 2-audited or equivalent platforms (Razorpay, Cal.com, Google Workspace)
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you promptly if a breach occurs that affects your data.
9. Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We may use session cookies solely for functional purposes (e.g., remembering a filter selection). No third-party advertising pixels are placed on this site.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults making property decisions. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age.
